I'm Rebecca - AKA Conkers & Thread

I’m the maker behind Conkers & Thread. I sew from my studio in Warwickshire, and am lifelong lover of creating things.

My mission is to rescue textiles that might otherwise go to waste (or that are simply taking up space). We all have things in our wardrobes that we no longer wear but don't really want to part with - perhaps they don't fit, they've gone out of style, or they simply remind us of a time, place, or a loved one. I love taking those pieces and giving them a new lease of life.

For me, reworking clothes is about more than keeping them out of the bin. It’s about keeping something we have loved or valued before, giving it a new purpose, and getting to enjoy it all over again.
